Port of Aalborg Ltd. – excellence in cooperation and transport

Under the name Nordic Transport Center, the Port of Aalborg Ltd. is northern Denmark’s primary goods junction catering for all types of transport for all types of goods at one of Europe’s best spatially planned harbour areas.
The Port of Aalborg’s strength in terms of transport is closely tied to its willingness and ability to collaborate with regard to holistic logistics solutions.

Aalborg opening feeder container line to the global network

With a fixed weekly connection to Europe's largest container ports, Rotterdam, the Port of Aalborg and North Jutland businesses come close to the global network. The line is served by X-Press Container Line, with its more than 60 ships and transportation of 2.5 million containers annually is the world's biggest feeder shipping line.
In addition to Aalborg and Rotterdam, the rotation includes also Gothenburg, Gijon, Bilbao and Le Havre. They sail with two ship MV "Götaland" of 822 TEU and MV" Monte Rosa "at 740 TEU. To achieve an optimum service served Rotterdam both north and southbound.
